Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Mission Minis is operated by Applepie Entertainment Pty Ltd (ABN 77 160 553 435). It is built to keep children's routine and learning information on the family's device wherever possible. This policy explains what the app handles and why.
Information kept on this device
Mission Minis is designed for a parent or guardian to set up and manage. Child nicknames, age settings, buddy choices, routines, checklists, stars, learning progress, timer history, rewards and parent-created reset moments are stored locally in the app on the device.
A parent may choose a reward photo from the device photo library. Mission Minis copies that selected image into the app's private storage so it remains available. The image is not uploaded by Mission Minis.
Parent access and biometrics
The Parent PIN is stored as a salted verifier in the device's protected secure storage, not as readable PIN text. A recovery code verifier is stored in the same way.
If a parent enables Face ID, Touch ID or Android biometric unlock, the operating system performs the check. Mission Minis does not receive or store a face image, fingerprint or biometric template and does not request camera access for this feature.
Purchases
Apple or Google processes payments. Mission Minis uses RevenueCat to validate Family Plus access and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, purchase history and limited store or device information needed to validate and manage the entitlement. Child profiles, reward photos and learning answers are not sent to RevenueCat.
What Mission Minis does not do
- No advertising or third-party advertising SDKs.
- No behavioural tracking or sale of personal information.
- No third-party analytics.
- No location, contacts, microphone or camera collection.
- No account, chat, social feed or public child profile.
Retention and deletion
Local app information remains until a parent changes it, uses Parent Zone > Reset all data, or removes the app. Reset all data deletes profiles, progress, settings, locally copied reward photos and Parent Zone security credentials from the device.
Store transaction records are retained by Apple or Google under their policies. Purchase validation records handled by RevenueCat may be retained as required for entitlement operation, fraud prevention, legal obligations and store reporting. A parent may contact us to ask about access or deletion requests relating to purchase validation data.
Children's privacy
Mission Minis is intended to be used under parent or guardian supervision. It is deliberately designed without ads, public sharing, messaging or child accounts. Parents control the information entered into the app and should use a nickname rather than a child's full legal name.
Security and changes
Mission Minis uses device-provided storage protections and limits requested permissions. No system can guarantee absolute security, so parents should keep the device and Parent PIN secure.
This policy may be updated when app features or service providers change. The updated date will be shown in the app and on this page.
